An Advice From a Muslim About Fasting To Lose Weight
"I have been fasting Ramadan for roughly some 20 years now and I did notice a significant change in my body and health after fasting the whole month." Here is my advice for anybody who is willing to go on the experience of fasting:
- 1. Do not fast more than one month, if ever.
- 2. Do not try to fast if you are diabetic or have any other chronic disease for not to put your health at risk.
- 3. Do not abstain from drinking water so as not to have your body dehydrated.
- 4. Add a couple of liquid dietary sweeteners to water to avoid low sugar in the blood.
- 5. Take a nap if you feel a headache and dizzy in the middle of the night.
- 6. Attempt fasting on weekends, when you are home, rather than in working days
I myself know how hard it is to fast one month because you are not used to that. Fasting a whole month is extremely challenging. You might wanna give a try fasting to lose weight for one to ten days guys and see how it works out with you.
Happy Fasting!
